My name is Simeon Adekola Opatade. I attended Modakeke High School, Muslim College Ijebu Ode and the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, United Kingdom. I worked at the University College Hospital Ibadan as Prosthetist/ Orthotist and later transferred service to the National Orthopaedic Hospital Igbobi Lagos. I rose to the post of Assistant Director. While in service at NOHIL, I doubled as Coordinator of the School of Prosthetics and Orthotics. On retirement, I was employed by the Hospital Management on contract as Coordinator, Federal College of Orthopaedic Technology and later as Provost. I assumed duty at the University of Medical Sciences Ondo as Senior Lecturer in Prosthetics and Orthotics on 5th January 2021. Presently, I am the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medical Rehabilitation, member, International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics and Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria. I am happily married with children.
